About Your Credit Report and Your Credit Performance: You agree that Barclays has the right to obtain a current credit report in connection with our review of your application and, subsequently, in connection with a requested charge to any account with us, the renewal of your account, or a change in your credit line; and that we have the right to report to others our credit experience with you. Your Telephone Number: By providing us with a telephone number(s), at the time you apply or anytime thereafter, you authorize Barclays and its affiliates, agents and independent contractors, to contact you regarding your account at such number using any means of communication, including, but not limited to calls placed to your cell, mobile or other phone using an automated dialing service, pre-recorded messages or text messages. Balance Transfers. Here's How it Works:
To request a balance transfer please enter the 15/16 digit account number from the MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card account that you want us to process a balance transfer to. If the total amount you request exceeds the assigned credit line on your new account, we may either decline the request or send a partial payment to your creditor(s). The amount of available credit on your new account will be reduced by the amount transferred and the related balance transfer fees. We reserve the right to decline to process any requested balance transfer. We will not process a request to transfer a balance from any other account you may have with us. Balance transfers incur interest from the transaction date. You should not transfer the amount of any disputed purchase or other charge. If you do, you may lose your dispute rights. Upon approval of your application we will process the requested balance transfer payment to the account(s) which you have requested on the 10th day after we’ve mailed you your card; during this 10 day time period you may cancel your balance transfer by contacting us at the number on the back of your card.
A balance transfer may take up to 4 weeks to post to your other credit card accounts. Continue to pay each creditor until the balance transfer appears on the other account as a credit. If you would like to complete a balance transfer from another account that is not a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card, please call the phone number on the back of your new credit card once you are approved. Balance transfers are subject to availability. We may deny balance transfer requests at any time and for any reason.
Paying Interest on Balance Transfers and Cash Advances:
We charge interest on balances transfers and cash advances beginning on the transaction date. We charge interest on purchases unless you pay your entire balance, which includes all purchases, cash advances and balance transfers by the payment due date each and every month. Your entire balance includes any balances you transfer pursuant to this offer. This means that we will charge you interest on purchases if you do not pay any balance transfers in full by the first payment due date. Please see your Cardmember Agreement for details on how interest accrues.
Cash Equivalent Purchases: The purchase of money orders, travelers' checks, foreign currency, lottery tickets, gambling chips, wire transfers and other similar transactions are treated as cash advances. Please see the Cardmember Agreement that will accompany your credit card upon account opening for more details.

§Upromise Credit Card Rewards Program Rules
General Program. This rewards program (the “Program”) consists of two categories of cash back rewards that can be earned using your Upromise Credit Card for automatic deposit into a Upromise account: Card Cash Back and Upromise Online Shopping Cash Back (collectively, “Total Cash Back” or “Cash Back”). Cash Back is earned only on net retail purchase transactions less credits, returns and adjustments (“Net Purchases”). Card Cash Back is earned only on Net Purchases made with your Upromise Credit Card. Balance transfers, cash advances, including purchases of cash equivalents of any kind, purchases made by or for a business or for a business purpose, fees, interest charges, credit protection, credit insurance or debt cancellation charges, and unauthorized/fraudulent transactions are not Net Purchases and shall not earn Cash Back. Fractions of Cash Back earned are truncated at the 4th decimal place and rounded up or down to the nearest cent. For example, if you use your Upromise Credit Card for eligible retail purchases of $519.59 during a cycle, you will receive $5.20 in Cash Back, rather than $5.1959. The Total Cash Back that you can earn is unlimited in amount.

In addition, your Upromise Credit Card (including all additional cards issued to authorized users) must be registered to a Upromise account to earn and receive all eligible Cash Back. Card Cash Back
1% Base Cash Back. One percent (1%) cash back is earned on all Net Purchases made using your Upromise Credit Card (“Base Cash Back”).
2% Movie Theater Cash Back. A total of two percent (2%) cash back (consisting of the 1% Base Cash Back and 1% bonus cash back) is earned on every $1 of Net Purchases made at movie theater merchants that are classified in the Visa/MasterCard system in the Motion Picture Theaters category. We (Barclaycard and Upromise) do not determine and are not responsible for whether merchants correctly identify themselves and bill transactions as being made at locations in a particular category. Barclaycard reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for the 1% bonus cash back for purchases with merchants in the Motion Picture Theaters category. However, if a particular movie theater or merchant is not identified in the Motion Picture Theater category in the Visa/MasterCard system, your purchase with that merchant will not qualify for 1% bonus cash back.
3% Gas Cash Back. A total of three percent (3%) cash back (consisting of 1% Base Cash Back and 2% bonus cash back) is earned on Exxon or Mobil gasoline Net Purchases only when you: a) use your registered Upromise Credit Card or a Speedpass™ linked to another registered credit card to make a gasoline purchase at any Exxon or Mobil location; and b) buy a total of 20 or more gallons in a calendar month in accordance with the ExxonMobil cash back requirements in the Upromise Service. Diesel, non-fuel and fleet purchases are not eligible. For more information on ExxonMobil, including cash back requirements, visit http://shop.upromise.com/mall/exxonmobil.
4% Dining Cash Back. A total of four percent (4%) cash back (consisting of 1% Base Cash Back and 3% bonus cash back) is earned on Net Purchases at participating Upromise Dining restaurants when you: i) make a qualified purchase at a participating restaurant in the Upromise Dining Program administered by Rewards Network in accordance with the Upromise Dining Program Terms and Conditions and restaurant restrictions; and ii) use your registered Upromise Credit Card to make such qualified Upromise Dining Program purchases (“Qualified Dine”). For more information on the Upromise Dining Program cash back requirements including individual restaurant restrictions or a list of participating restaurants, visit upromise.com/dining. Participating restaurants are determined solely by Rewards Network and are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
5% Online Shopping Cash Back. A total of five percent (5%) cash back (consisting of 1% Base Cash Back and 4% bonus cash back) is earned when you complete a Qualified Purchase (defined below) using a Upromise Credit Card that is registered in a Upromise account. To view a complete list of Upromise online retailers that participate in the 5% Cash Back offer go to upromise.com/cardretailers. The Upromise Online Shopping Terms & Conditions apply. Participating retailers and terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. While we do our best to track and credit all qualified online purchases, there may be occasions when we are unable to do so as a result of technical difficulties or other reasons. Please contact Customer Care if you believe a Qualified Purchase has not been credited to your account and forty-five (45) days has passed since you received the item.
Exclusions and Limitations. Purchases made through a third party payment processor including, but not limited to, Google Checkout, PayPal, Bill me Later, or Amazon PayPhrase and purchases made with more than one payment mechanism (e.g., a gift card and the Upromise Credit Card), do not qualify for the 4% bonus cash back. In addition, certain online retailers do not participate in the 4% bonus cash back offer, such as, eBay, select travel partners who are aggregators of travel services (e.g. Travelocity & Expedia), and subscription services such as Verizon Wireless. Finally, purchases made via links other than those described in section (i) above are not eligible for the 4% bonus cash back, even if those purchases are made with a participating online retailer. Cash Back on purchases made from participating online retailers are based on your Net Purchases, excluding taxes, shipping and handling, and any special services such as gift wrapping. Purchases must be completed online - any purchase charged at a store location or by telephone will not be eligible for bonus cash back.
Upromise Online Shopping Cash Back
You can earn five percent (5%) or more cash back on Net Purchases made on qualified purchases through participating online retailers through Upromise when you: (i) shop through the links on the Upromise website or Upromise emails or download and take the appropriate action using the Upromise toolbar and/or browser add-on, and (ii) make a qualified purchase for which you earn Upromise cash back from a participating online retailer (“Qualified Purchase”). First Use Bonus Cash Back. A twenty-five dollar ($25) Cash Back bonus is earned if you use your new Upromise Credit Card to make your first purchase, cash advance transaction or transfer a balance within ninety (90) days of your Upromise Credit Card account being issued. If you make an eligible retail purchase transaction, you will also receive your 1% Card Cash Back. Your one-time $25 Cash Back bonus will be reported as pending on your Upromise account by the thirtieth (30th) day of the calendar month following the credit card statement containing the initial transaction and should be posted to your Upromise account within ninety (90) days of the posted pending transaction ,provided you are a Upromise member within ninety (90) days of your Upromise Credit Card account being issued. This is a limited time offer and may be cancelled at any time without notice.
Account Closure; Disqualification; No Transfer. If your Upromise Credit Card account is closed, your payment is received after the payment due date, or your account has no charging privileges, you will not be eligible to earn Card Cash Back or be entitled to outstanding Card Cash Back earnings that have not yet been credited to your Upromise account. Barclaycard reserves the right to disqualify any Cardmember from participating in the Program and to invalidate any or all Card Cash Back earned for abuse, fraud or any violation of the Program Rules. Card Cash Back cannot be transferred or sold.
Taxes. You are solely responsible for any taxes that may be owed as a result of Cash Back earned and/or redeemed. Please consult your tax advisor if you have tax questions about the Program. Neither Barclaycard nor Upromise provide tax advice.
Limitation and Release of Liability. By participating in the Program, and accepting and using Cash Back earned via the Program, you or any other beneficiary of the Program release, discharge and hold harmless Barclaycard, Upromise, Inc. (“Upromise”), and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, administrators, employees, officers, directors, successors and assignees from all claims, damages or liability including, but not limited to, physical injury or death, arising out of participation in the Program or travel taken or use of products purchased in connection with the Program. Barclaycard is not responsible for unauthorized redemptions on your credit card account. Barclaycard has no liability in case of disagreement over issuance of or a Cardmember’s right to possess Cash Back.
